When you think of the word ‘Bungee jumping’, instantly images of being flung off a bridge with only a single rubber band spring to mind. Sounds crazy? Well that’s half the point. Uganda is full of interesting things. It is hard for me to describe how i felt when i was flung from that top. But for sure, this is a “must not miss” when you visit UgandaBungee jumping! It’s all about doing something that you couldn’t believe that you could do and overcoming your inner most fears. For sure it’s a wild adrenalin rush, but it has also been developed with a series of ropes, and back up ropes which makes it possible to jump off a bridge and still be able to yell “I did it” at the end. It felt as if I could fly with my arms stretched widely in imitation of flight. Wind rushed through my hair and my cheeks pressed strongly against my face as I accelerated to toward the water. In that remarkable feeling of slow motion, I had plenty of time to think, I could even enjoy the view as the cliff face flashed past in a blur and the river rose up to meet me. Puffy white clouds seemed miraculously within reach and within seconds my fingers combed through the waters of the Nile. I hadn’t imagined the whole movement to be so graceful and the splashes on my face emboldened the reality of the water touch. I had only seconds to enjoy the proximity of the water before the latex rubber retracted and I was accelerating skywards. This part of the bungee jumping had been given no thought as I had been so focused on the initial plunge and whether this enlarged rubber band would halt my speedy descent – after all the most common use of the rubber is to hold up women’s underwear. I had never intended to bungee jumping but afterwards as the adrenalin pumped through my body and the rush took over, I struggled to contain the excitement. This had been one of the best decisions I had made in some time. It remains one of the most bizarre and unforgettable experiences of my life; to force myself to leap from a platform at what seemed like an impossible height above the Nile. It reminded me the escapades i passed through when i went for mountaineering in Mt Rwenzori<strong>am’i a jumpmaster? no no. . . . . . . . . . </strong>The jump master in charge of the platform had kindly assured me that the most dangerous thing about bungee jumping was driving on the road between Kampala and JinjaAs I sat nervously in the Congolese kings’ chair a soft cotton towel was wrapped around my ankles. Cam and Phil calmly explained the foot-tie system which was developed in New Zealand and this made me firm to continue with my bungee . They said that I would be attached by my ankles and that the webbing bound firmly around my lower legs would pull tighter as I jumped – I was fine with that. Nile High Bungee is one of the most spectacular sights you can imagine. The views from the bungee tower are sensational and when the tower is not in use for jumping a troop of Vervet monkeys stand guard against the Nile.

Filing by phone is also an option. California unemployed workers, as another example, can also file an Unemployment Insurance claim by completing an online form. In addition, there is a form that can printed out, completed, and mailed or faxed, as well as a toll free number to call to file for unemployment via the telephone. Before you file, check with your state unemployment office to determine the best way to open a claim. As a tour guide I have come to love never better than what I used to before joining Tourism. In Uganda when you say that you are going for a tour in the national park, many people will see you as an extravagant person. But when you know what is there you will not fail to appreciate what God created. And for that matter I’m now used to visit new places which are in my reach. There are some places in this world which are never given attention at all. Have you ever asked yourself why Uganda is called the pearl of Africa? Among other places of attraction in Uganda, <b>Ssese Islands</b> are taken to be of high quality in Africa more than any place in Uganda. Everything at this place is natural and these people have never had of anything like global warming. It will take you around 45 minutes to travel From Kampala city to Ssese Islands in Lake Victoria. These islands are 84 in number and the most developed for tourist vacations are in Uganda side of the lake. Let me not forget to tell you that this lake is shared by Kenya Uganda and Tanzania. As a developing country, Uganda’s tourist attractions are untapped. It is of recent that these islands are looked upon as places of attractions to those going for honeymoons and other holiday vacations. As a matter of fact many tourist hotels are mushrooming at a breakneck speed to cater for many who come at a short notice and those who book in advance. All beaches were given to developers by the current government at a subsidized price. At the time I’ am writing this article. Ssese Island beaches are like Mombasa beaches in Kenya. The natives of these island who claim to be the first people in Uganda according to legends in Ugandan history, are very friendly to any outside . They will welcome any person from any origin and for that matter many people are buying land and turning to be native and citizens of Uganda. And while other parts of Uganda faced coups and counter coups, Ssese islands have never faced any political instability and therefore their culture is still intact. I will not hastate to tell you that “if you want to know the African culture to its fullest”, this is the place to give your next glance. Anything concerning food is history in these islands. As the place is situated in the tropics, any tropical fresh food is grown in these islands plus fish from Lake Victoria and to assure you the natives have never faced anything called shortage of food. In fact the towns near these islands get food from these islands. The only item the islanders buy is soap salt and match box and when you ask the native man what he or she lacks, the answer is salt soup and matchbox, other than that . one can live in Ssese Island for the rest of his life. The tranquility that Surround the island give it the marks for honeymoon and other secretive adventure like canoeing and Kayaking. For those who like wildlife, there is a chimpanzee sanctuary in Ngamba island which is “a must see when you visit these islands and see these creatures that are next to man in terms of intelligence. . .

Most cheap hotels in Uganda are owned by the natives and for that matter they are the ones working their as top manager. This means that they will be available anytime to cater for you so that you enjoy your stay in. If you are visiting and traveling in Uganda on a fixed budget, really you should look for a cheap hotel accommodation. How?. . . For example if you want to visit the national parks, you should not stay in their safari lodges. You can hire a hotel outside the park as these hotel are always on Competition with the safari lodges, they will be able to reduce the price for you unlike the safari lodges inside the parks whose price is always fixed. Although Uganda like any other developing country has hotel brokers, they aren’t very expensive but you never know. If you don’t trust them, go ahead and face the management of the hotel and may be you can get what you want. But one thing for sure is that in every corner of Uganda, you will find the cheap hotel accommodation that falls in your budget.
